Clicking on the dashboard icon will return you to the home configuration screen.

This icon allows you to preview your property listing even if it isn't yet published.

Note - these icons are only valid if you have configured your property to take online bookings.

Create a new booking, allows you to create a booking manually. It follows the same process as an normal guest booking online.

List all outstanding bookings.

List new bookings - i.e. unconfirmed reservtions that require attention.

Historic bookings - lists completed and cancelled reservations.

Guest Admin - displays a list of guest who have booked with you. You can update clients addresses and email details and add discounts etc to thier profile.

Note - only used if you are taking online bookings.

Lists all invoices for client reservations. You can print and update the status of invoices from this screen. Only used with online bookings.

Property Details - This is one of the most important screens. Most of the fields are self explanatory and are used to imput the important data for your listing. Please fill in the Lat & Long fields so that we can display your location using Google maps. The page contains detailed instructions of how to find this info.

Select all of the features relevent to your property as these are used in the Feature search function.

Meta title and description at the bottom of the page are very important! The title describes what your property is about to the search engines and should contain the property name, location and type. e.g. Hotel Beauregard - 4 star hotel in La Clusaz or Chalet Poubelle - luxury catered chalet in Le Grand Bornand. 

The description will be displayed in search results so a couple of sentences which sell your proprty are needed.

When you've updated these fields remember to click the save button at the top of the form.

Finally at the bottom of the form you can upload the main image of your property which will be displayed in search results on the site. Simple click on the "Choose file" button and select a jpeg image form your computer to upload. All images should be in landscape format and between 800-1000 pixels wide. If you're not sure how to resize images contact us at support@the-aravis.com.

This option depends on your property type. If you selected MRP is allows you to configure the rooms for your hotel, b&b or catered chalet and to create prices. For SRP properties i.e. selfcatered chalets and apartments this option allows you to set the number of bedrooms and max occupancy as well as creating price lists.

This is where you configure how your property appears and behaves on the website. You can manage the following:

• How the availability calendar is displayed
• Configure the reservation management system - although this must be initially configured by us.
• Choose the items to display in your property listing
• Define min and max stays, arrival and departure days.
• Configure your pricing option
• Offer last minute discounts

The contents of this page differ depending on the type of property so see the type specific instructions below.

Define guest types and discounts e.g. adults, children etc. This is only useful if you are a hotel, b&b or catered chalet using the reservation system.

If you're using the reservation system this option allows you to add optional extras which can be selected during the booking process. For instance you might want to offer meals on a per person per night basis or bed linen for the whole chalet per week etc.

This screen allows you to upload images from your computer to be displayed as a slideshow in your advert. Images should be a maximum of a 1000 pixels in either dimention. You can select upto 12 images which will be uploaded when you click the save icon. The upload may take some time depending on your internet connection. Once uploaded the pictures will appear at the bottom of the page.

Note - all files must be in jpeg format

This icon indicates that the current property is not published and will therefore not appear on the site. This is the normal state for a newly created property to enable you to check the accuracy before it is served up to the public. Once you're happy with your listing click on the icon and you property will be made live.

This icon shows the proerty listing is currently live. If for any reason you wish to take your property offline simple click on this icon.

If you have purchased a multi property subscription you can add new properties by clicking on this icon which will take you to the initial property creation page.

Clicking on this item will delete all information about the currently selected property. Use with care!

How to set up a single unit property

After initially creating your property you will be directed to the following screen:

1 -The first thing to do is set the maximum occupancy for your property by clicking on "edit your business type".

2- Add tariffs/prices - click on the "Tariffs" tab, click the "+" icon to add a tariff.

Tariff title should be something like "Winter 2012 high season" and Description can be left blank.

Per week is the price of the property for the rental period normally a week but can be for a short break.

Valid from/to are the dates which the price applies.

Min days/Max days should be set to 7 for weekly rentals. (link to weekend and short break tariffs here)

Min/Max People the number of people allowed for this tariff

Arrival day Day of Week - your normal changeover day or leave as all if you offer flexible start dates.

The other fields can be ignored for now. Click the save icon and continue adding tariffs as needed. (Note the "Clone" Icon allows you to duplicate a tariff so you just need to change the name, dates and prices).

Uploading photos

Please ensure your photos to be between 800 and 1000 pixels wide and in jpeg format. 

Choose one photo to be your main image and click on the Property details icon.  This page will look familiar as you can see all of your propery details. Scroll to the bottom of this page  where you can choose a file to upload from your computer. Click on the "upload main image" button.

Slideshow

You can also add upto 12 images into your properties slideshow by clicking on the camera icon . Choose your files and then click the save icon to upload.

Preview

That's it - click the preview icon to see how your listing will appear on the site.

Publish

This icon indicates that your listing is not currenly live. Once you're happy with your advert click this icon to publish your property and the cross will change to a tick.

Note you are responsible for the accuracy of information in your listing.
